Berkeley, Inc. is seeking an Associate Advisor & Financial Planner. We are an independent fee-only financial advisor with (currently) five employees. We are located in beautiful Boise, Idaho. As a firm, we take our duty to do our best for clients and to enjoy ourselves at work very seriously. This individual will work closely with the lead advisors and our team to support the financial planning process for ongoing clients and our standalone planning services. You will be a part of most client meetings, managing planning related tasks and keeping financial plans organized and on track. This person will do planning input, follow-up, write-up and delivery from start to finish. Ultimately, this person will develop their own client relationships once Berkeley strategy and ethos have been understood and developed. This is a track to become a lead advisor in 3 to 5 years.
The best candidates will be very organized, communicate clearly and professionally, are trustworthy, personable, proactive, and fun. If you are seeking a strict 9-5 job where you clock in and clock out, this position is not for you. This is a full-time position with some flexibility once trust and responsibilities have been established.

Develop financial planning recommendations through meetings, data gathering, and planning software
Serve in a support role for senior advisors—contributing to all aspects of the planning process and transitioning full planning responsibilities of the firm

Enhance client relationships through continual and regular client contact and correspondence; provide follow-up to all client inquiries, needs and requests
Manage and coordinate with team members on planning recommendations
Help to add value to the firm through implementation of new methods and ideas
Engage in ongoing education to stay current in financial planning related knowledge and skills; our firm has a strong emphasis on continuous learning
Please submit your resume, with a short cover letter as to why you are interested in the job and why you feel you would be a good fit (we take pride in being unique in the industry so please do not send a canned AI cover letter). Please send via email to megan@berkeleyinc.com.
